The Power Gauge is the control center for the CZ Smart YouQ app. Leveraging AI-driven analytics built with IBM Watson® Studio along with biofeedback captured from your CZ Smart Smartwatch, the Power Gauge dynamically displays personalized hourly forecasts, actionable recommendations, and a daily Power Graph that visualizes when throughout the day you’ll experience peaks and drops in energy and alertness levels, as well as how aligned you are with your chronotype baseline. No two days are exactly alike, and neither is your Power Gauge.
There are three ways to access the Power Gauge. From the Dashboard simply tap anywhere in your Power Graph to go to your Power Gauge. You can also tap “Power Gauge” on the top navigation or the Power Gauge icon on the main navigation bar.
The Power Gauge includes your Power Score, Power Forecast, Power Graph, Power Fixes and Biofeedback Inputs.
The Power Score is a perceptual measure of your Personal Power Level (PPL), which lets you know what your cognitive and physical capacity is at any given moment of the day. You can check your Power Score throughout the day to track your PPL and anticipate when you’ll be in peak form or need to take a step back and rest. Your alignment with your body’s natural rhythms also impacts your PPL, so it’s important to maintain consistent sleep and activity schedules and practice healthy habits. A strong Power Score may not translate to peak performance if you’re significantly out of sync with your baseline. So, be sure to wear your CZ Smart watch to bed to capture your sleep data accurately and consistently.

The Power Graph plots your forecasted hourly Power Scores for a 12-hour period, so you can anticipate precisely when you may experience fatigue (drops) and periods of alertness (peaks). Your Power Graph also lets you assess deviations from your baseline and their impact on your overall Power Scores for the day. It displays 3 overlaying curves: a Baseline Curve, Power Curve, and Extended Forecast Curve.
The Baseline Curve is reflective of your chronotype and establishes your ideal sleep and wake times, as well as the natural fluctuations in your energy levels over 24 hours.
The baseline curve is overlayed by the Power Curve, which forecasts peaks and drops in your energy and alertness for a 12-hour period based on actual sleep-wake data from your CZ Smart Watch, allowing you to monitor how well you're aligned with your chronotype baseline.
The Extended Forecast Curve extends the predictions of your highs and lows 36-48 hours into the future providing additional insights into your levels of chronotype alignment and the impact on your future energy and performance.
The Power Forecast provides individualized insights about your capacity to take on the day and is based on your Power Score, as well as alignment with your baseline. Your Power Forecast suggests activities you should engage in and others you should avoid at specific times in the day based on the ups and downs of your PPL and the degree of chronotype misalignment. Check your Power Forecast throughout the day to stay in sync with your body and mind and perform at your best no matter what the day brings.
Power Fixes are recommended actions and activities to help you reduce fatigue and maximize moments of peak energy, so you can optimize every day. Power Fixes are tailored to you based on your Power Score, circadian phase (whether you are at a peak or a drop), chronotype misalignment level (e.g. how far off of your baseline you are), as well as your preferences.
To find out what's impacting your Power Score, tap the Biofeedback Inputs. As CZ Smart YouQ continues to learn more about you and your behaviors and habits, it fine-tunes inputs such as sleep score, SP02, circadian rhythm, activity levels, and more that positively or negatively impact your Power Score for the day. Tap any item in the list to navigate to a detailed monitor where you can discover more about a particular metric.
How to get the most out of the Power Gauge:
- Plan Check the Power Gauge first thing in the morning to see an at-a-glance forecast and assess how your day’s shaping up.
- Prepare Tap the peaks and drops in the Power Graph to receive customized Power Fix recommendations for actions and activities that will help you handle fatigue, get aligned with your baseline, and maximize energy to meet the demands of your day.
- Build Track your Power Scores and Power Forecasts over time and understand more about your body’s unique patterns, so you can build better habits and behaviors aligned with your natural rhythms.
- Compare Track daily changes in your Power Scores and alignment with your baseline to determine which Power Fixes and healthy habits are having the biggest impact on your energy and alertness levels, and your overall well-being.
