If the interior temperature of your device exceeds the normal operating range, your device will protect its internal components by attempting to regulate its temperature. If this occurs, you might notice:
- Device is automatically switched to extended battery mode
- Charging speed is reduced
- Wi-Fi is turned off
Users are unable to change the battery mode or turn Wi-Fi during this time.
Here's what to do:
- If you're wearing your device, remove it from your wrist. If your device is in the process of charging, remove it from its charger
- Once your device has cooled down it will return to normal operation
